Health care, disease prevention, navigation and support: The Lavender Network is a place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and other LGBTQ+ people to access specialized services. Includes shared space with community partners TransPonder, Queer Eugene, Pride Day Equality Project (Eugene PRIDE is 6/28/25), Authentic Movement Project, and HIV Alliance.
Advocacy and education across Oregon: Basic Rights Oregon (BRO) will ensure that all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, intersex, and asexual Oregonians experience equality by building a broad and inclusive politically powerful movement, shifting public opinion, and achieving policy victories. https://www.basicrights.org/
Action: (Tuesdays, 9am) – Submit public testimony in support of specific county action to protect and support immigrant and transgender people in Lane County to the Board of County Commissioners. Lift up the need to continue providing and funding gender affirming medical care in County medical clinics, and to stockpile hormone replacement therapy and other medically necessary supplies in anticipation of a federal shortage or ban.
